Item Description
6.25x10x12.25" tall box w/original styrofoam inserts contains three-piece cold-cast porcelain statue of Mickey Mantle (1931-1995, HOF 1974) in New York Yankees jersey at bat. Assembled size stands 8-1/8" tall. Released as a limited edition of 1,732 in 1994, front of base has attached piece of card, which Mantle has signed in black felt tip pen. Underside of base has brass plate w/stamped "557" edition number. Bat was issued as a separate piece but at one point original owner decided to glue it in place. It then broke where bat connects to hand and requires repair that is easily hidden by display. Comes w/Salvino COA w/matching edition number. This has tape at right w/tear and box shows wear as well. Signature has faint spot of glue staining but is o/w VF/Exc. Great display piece. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
