Item Description
19.75x28" artboard has had 13 individual panels attached along w/aged title stat. Art is by Dick Tracy creator Chester Gould (1900-1985) and was for Dec. 7, 1958 Sunday page. Art shows Headache conspiring w/Popsie and her mother to take down The Slot Machine Ring w/tampered baby carriage slot machines. Dick Tracy appears in last two panels, along w/Chief Patton and Sam Ketcham in one. Last panel has Gould's signature. First panel features "Crimestoppers Textbook" tip regarding "Holiday Reminders" regarding safety while shopping. Second to last panel has Chicago Tribune copyright strip. Large date written in black marker at top left of top margin. Artboard individual panels are attached to has vertical crease at center and title stat shows wear w/scattered aging. Moisture staining to top right margin and attached artboard panels some scattered aging/dust soiling (more moderate at margins) and panel lifting, but o/w art remains clean and VF/Exc.
