Item Description
Complete set of 16, each is a 13/16" tin litho. No maker. Each has same image of a baseball and crossed bats w/text noting player/team/record/stat/etc. One is for Ruth's 1927 season record of 60 home runs while another is Hornsby's highest batting percentage since 1900 of .424. Other HOF members featured include: Grover Alexander, Al Simmons, Lefty Grove, Lefty O'Doul, Max Carey, Bill Terry. Most records/stats date from 1929-1932 and set was issued the following year. Moderate scattered wear including paint nicks and scratches as is typical w/these litho buttons. Set still retains nice gloss and color. Mostly VG to Fine. Rare as a full set, the only such example we have offered in our 56 years.
