Item Description
"Los Luchadores Del Espacio," or The Space Fighters, was a long-running series of paperback sci-fi novellas published in Spain by Editorial Valenciana every 15 days during 1953-1963. A total of 234 novels were published, this lot features mixed media original art for the cover to novella published in 1962. Thin artboard measures 6-7/8x9" and depicts couple fleeing attack on futuristic city by fleet of spaceships. Title is hand-painted/lettered and has been clipped out and glued to art as designed at bottom right and series title is pasted stat at lower left. Tiny artist signature below title.. Artboard has some lt. aging but is o/w Exc. Comes w/reading copy of the novella this cover art was created for.
