"Los Luchadores Del Espacio," or The Space Fighters, was a long-running series of paperback sci-fi novellas published in Spain by Editorial Valenciana every 15 days during 1953-1963. A total of 234 novels were published, this lot features mixed media original art for the cover to novella published in 1957. Thin artboard measures 6-7/8x9.25" and depicts bound spacewoman being wrapped up in tentacles from a large clam-like creature as spaceman comes to her rescue. Title is hand-lettered at bottom left and series title is pasted stat at lower right. Upper right has been signed by artist. Artboard has some lt. corner tip/edge wear and faint margin aging but still displays VF. Comes w/reading copy of the novella this cover art was created for.
