Item Description
3 hole punched 8.5x11" paper sheets w/copy of art for the Fantastic Four (Marvel, 1964) featuring early appearances of The Fantastic Four w/Hulk, Avengers, Sub-Mariner and X-Men by Jack Kirby that are hand-colored as color guides for the published reprint hard cover Marvel Masterworks books. Lot contains issues #25-28. #26-28 has complete 22-23 story pages and covers, #25 missing one page. Historic Silver Age Fantastic Four storylines by Stan Lee with art by Jack Kirby. Color artist on reprint issues was Andy Yanchus. Paper pages w/"Marvel Masterworks Fantastic Four Vol. 13" written/stamped at top and marked up w/new color break notations. All covers have acetate overlays w/text color. Used in Marvel Masterworks #13 The Fantastic Four Vol. 3 (September 1990), that reprinted issues #21-30. Lt. aging/handling wear and overall clean.
