Item Description
8.5x11" paper sheets and first two issues have mounted stat sheets w/copy of art for the Dr. Strange portion of Strange Tales (Marvel, 1965) featuring early appearances of Dr. Strange w/Mordo, Dormammu and Clea by Steve Ditko that are hand-colored as color guides for the published reprint hard cover Marvel Masterworks books. Lot includes Dr. Strange stories from 11 issues of Strange Tales issues #131-141. All have complete 10 story pages. No covers. Color artist on reprint issues was Andy Yanchus. Paper pages w/"Marvel Masterworks 23 Dr. Strange" written/stamped at top and marked up w/new color break notations. Used in Marvel Masterworks #23 that reprinted Strange Tales #110-111 and 114-141 (December 1992). Lt. aging/handling wear and overall clean. Overall displays VF.
