Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 9.75" tall tin litho wind-up (w/rubber nose and hands) depicting popular manga/anime giant robot character Tetsujin 28-go (better known in the US as Gigantor). Back has jet pack. Toy works and walks forward as eyes light up. Produced by the Osaka Tin Toy Institute in the 1990s, box lid features great illustration of Tetsujin 28-go while side panels feature image of main character Shotaro Kaneda controlling his robot friend via remote control. Box comes w/three cardboard inserts, registration card and Tin Age Collection papers. Robot is version in gray w/plastic head. Box is Exc. Old store stock.
