4x6.75". Tucker & Kinney: Syracuse NY Abolitionist publication w/James G. Birney on the cover and nominations inside. Almanac No. 18, Vol. 2 designed for 1845 but given during the 1844 campaign. 35 pp. Scattered staining, moderate wear and handling, most notably around the edges. Toning w/scattered tears and some areas of paper loss around edges. VG. Rare. This 1844 James Birney Liberty party campaign booklet is the only smaller portrait item we are aware of. An example in our March 2023 auction achieved a $1,998 result.
