Item Description
1.75" tall ribbon held under the top edge of a Bastian Bros. back paper and suspending the 1.75" button. Ribbon has narrow seam at its top edge to slip on the wire bar of a pin back hanger now gone. Most gold lettering is intact on striped fabric of red, gold, and blue. Fabric curl at top will iron out. Striking color with rising sunburst over water and land and featuring a gold mortar and pestle next to a California grizzly bear. Barely seen pair of tan age marks at 1:30 and 2:30 extreme edge. VF and only one we've seen with ribbon still present. Rare. California Button Collection.
