Item Description
Each is 1.25" and all have newspaper back paper telling owner to wear the button and to match it to number published in the paper to win "Valuable Prizes". This design was used by two New York papers, the Detroit Times and the rarest of all from The Atlanta Georgian. These are so rare they were unknown when Hake's published Buttons in Sets in 1984. These nine, the only nine known, are Barney Google, Buttercup, Ignatz Mouse, Jiggs, Maggie, Pa Perkins, Skippy, Spark-Plug, Tillie. All are Exc. to NM. Rare.
