Item Description
February 1972. Each artboard is 11x16" with art by Charles Nicholas (1921-1985) and Vince Alascia (1914-1998). Story is titled "Beat Bump". Complete seven page cover story featuring mechanic "Rusty Bolt" quitting a job in Formula racing to become a dirt track racer. Lt. aging/handling wear. Title is hand lettered. Lt. aging/handling wear. First page has top cut-in with tape across back and indicia taped in at lower front. VF. Also includes nine page story from same issue "The Gold- Plated Loser". All page art are stats with word balloon/type correction paste-ups. A few missing. Pages have center creases from mailing. Likely from the unnamed letterer. Overall Fine.
