Item Description
12x16" comic art board contains original art for the back cover of Concrete Vol.1 Issue #2 by Paul Chadwick. Dark Horse Comics May 1987. Art is preview for the next issue which tells the origin of Concrete and shows the faces of Ron and Michael, two campers who are captured and transformed by a alien race of Concrete beings who transplant their human brains into Concrete vessels. They escape and Michael sacrifices himself. This left only Ronald Lithgow, who had been transformed into the being Concrete, at the end. Storyline "Mountain with a Steel Heart". Art signed and dated Paul Chadwick ©1986. Early and beautifully rendered page of art. Lt. aging/wear. Page mounted Crescent Illustration board with white art tape as used to print with registration/crop marks. Piece has added mat, taped at top edge and is ready to frame if desired. Exc.
