Item Description
8.5x11" paper sheets w/copy of art for the Fantastic Four Vol. 1 Issues #29-30 (Marvel, Aug./Sept. 1964) featuring early appearances of The Fantastic Four by Jack Kirby that are hand-colored as color guides for the published reprint hard cover Marvel Masterworks books. Both have covers. Page counts at 22 each, plus covers, all complete. Silver Age Fantastic Four storylines: "It Started On Yancy Street" and "The Dreaded Diablo!" by Stan Lee with art by Jack Kirby and Chic Stone. Color artist on reprint issues was Andy Yanchus. Paper pages w/"Marvel Masterworks Fantastic Four" written/stamped at top and marked up w/new color break notations. Used in Marvel Masterworks #13 that reprinted The Fantastic Four #21-30 (September 1990). Lt. aging/handling wear and overall clean. Overall displays VF. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
