Item Description
7x11" stat sheets w/copy of art to John Carter Warlord of Mars Vol. 1 #4 (Marvel, September 1977), that are hand-colored as color guides for the published issue. Partial interior pages of 17 pages, no cover. Original art was by Gil Kane and Rudy Nebres and storyline "Raiding Party" by Marv Wolfman. Pages included: 1-3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14-17, 22, 23, 26, 27, 30, 31. Color artist was Andy Yanchus. Pages have color break notations in pen and some art paste- ins. Lt. aging/handling wear. Most pages have one lower corner torn off. Fine. Includes Chemical Color Plate Corp. envelope. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
