Item Description
AFA graded and encapsulated case contains 11.75x35.5" long display header featuring large "Star Wars Action Figures" text alongside art images of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. Double-sided cardboard display was released in 1978 by Kenner and advertises the first 12 Star Wars action figures, showing full figure photo images of the figures - Han Solo, Chewbacca, See-Threepio (C-3PO), Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2), Princess Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi, Jawa, Sand People and Death Squad Commander. Given its impressive size, this display header was used as shelf merchandiser for large store displays of Kenner figures. Great example of this lesser seen display piece and a must for any serious Star Wars collection. Out last example of this scarce display (in lesser grade; AFA 75) sold for $18,172 in our June 2022 auction. 5/8" edge crack to AFA case below AFA grade label.
