Item Description
Pair of items signed by Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry (1921-1991). 8.25x9" program w/cardstock covers and 20 pages bears "Space Shuttle - New Horizons" title on cover and was for 1979 award ceremonies related to the development and introduction of NASA's Space Shuttle program. Roddenberry was presented The Freedom Through Knowledge Award at the ceremony and Roddenberry has boldly signed that page of the program in blue felt tip pen (which has aged to lt. purple in color). Program shows moderate scattered aging and is Fine overall, while page Roddenberry signed displays Exc. w/just lt. aging. Rarely seen signed piece. Lot also comes w/2x3.5" personal business card from Roddenberry's time as an executive producer for Star Trek: The Next Generation, the last Star Trek series Roddenberry had a direct hand in. Exc. Comes w/JSA LOA.
