Item Description
Lot of three, including pair of 3-5/8x6.5" first day cover (FDC) envelopes and clipped/signed Playboy rabbit logo. First FDC  has April 20, 1983 Washington, DC postmark and has been signed in black felt tip pen by Playboy Founder/Publisher Hugh Hefner (1926-2017) in black felt tip pen. FDC has some corner tip wear but is VF/Exc. Second FDC has "Christmas 1988) silk cachet and Oct. 20, 1988 Berlin, NH postmark and has been signed in black ink by Playboy founding Art Director (and the man who created the company's iconic rabbit logo) Art Paul (1925-2018). Paul has incorporated the postmark into a sketch of the Playboy rabbit. Exc. Lot also includes 6" tall glossy cardboard cut-out of the logo, which has also been signed by Paul in black ink. Creases to tips of ears, Fine/VF. Comes w/JSA COAs.
