Item Description
1-3/8x2.5". The 1925-31 W590 strip-card set is a multi-subject set of undetermined release. After being cut from the strips, the cards show a black-and-white player photo on the front with his name, position, city and league printed below in the white perimeter border. Variations of these blank-backed cards are included considering the set was distributed over the course of six years.
David James Bancroft was an American professional baseball shortstop and manager. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies, New York Giants, Boston Braves and the Brooklyn Robins between 1915 and 1930. He was a two time World Series Champion in 1921 and 1922. Dave Bancroft was inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1971.
