Item Description
Large 8.5x20x5.5" tall hard plastic spaceship by Multiple Products Inc. © 1965. This came in a solid box as featured here as well as window box version. Each side of ship has a fold-down door w/spring-loaded rocket launchers, both come w/red rockets (slight style variants). Also has sliding door over cockpit area complete w/removable figures of Steve Zodiac and Venus and a pair of jetmobiles. Ship has overall lt. scattered aging/wear, some wear/peeling to the accent stickers. Small hairline crack near engine only seen on close inspection. Front is designed as a detachable Fireball Jr. ship with front landing gear. This ship has all four fins and accent pegs intact except one. Crack at top brace above windshield. This set also includes six plastic figures (2.75" tall average) of Steve Zodiac, Venus, Robert The Robot, Commander Zero, Prof. Matthew Matic and Zoony The Lazoon. Ship and contents are VF. Comes with original box with nice graphics. Box has moderate wear and soiling with lt. insect damage mostly on one end flap, small surface paper loss at edge. Still displays VG. Missing instruction sheet. A very scarce toy especially boxed. Large and impressive and a must have for the Fireball XL5 collector. Michael Lartigaut Collection.
