Item Description
11x13x5.75" tall "Autograph Model" case w/hinged lid. One of two different portable Elvis record players made by RCA Victor in 1956, both featured different cases, the only Elvis marking is his facsimile signature. The players also differed in that the example offered here is the 7-EP-2 model w/settings for 16, 33, 45, and 78 rpm recordings whereas the other model was 7-EP-45 and only played 45s. Works. Body has fabric covering w/vinyl edge trim and small plastic "RCA Victor" name attachment. Complete w/plastic carrying handle and original electric cord. Player surface shows aging/wear and front left corner has surface covering missing and wear under power dial. Outside of case has general wear and displays Fine. Unlike Presley's RCA records, this did not see great sales, resulting in its scarcity today. Michael Lartigaut Collection.
