Item Description
2-1/8" litho with no maker's name and a rare pre-release promotional button, one of just two known to us. Button reads "I/Can't/Wait/For/Elvis/In/'King Creole'". To make this film, Elvis was given a January-March, 1958 deferment from beginning his army stint. The film was released July 2 by Paramount to critical and commercial success. Later, Elvis cited his role as Danny Fisher as the favorite of all the roles he played. Short hairline of paint off top edge 12-1:30 with rest NM. Rare.
