Item Description
8.5x11" program for concert that took place March 5, 1958 at the Phoenix Union High School Auditorium in Phoenix, AZ. Program consists of 20 pages (counting textured cardstock covers). This concert took place during the peak of Lewis's popularity, just two months before controversy arose surrounding his marriage to his considerably younger cousin. Lewis is featured on three pages, including one featuring classic full body photo of standing and playing piano w/"Jerry Lee Lewis - Records Exclusively For Sun Records" text. Concert also featured Roy Hamilton, The Diamonds, Jimmy Madden, Bobby Helms, Bill Justis, The Four Preps, The Silhouettes and The Cuff Links. Program has some pinch creases and scattered wear along spine. Area of lt. staining to pages at bottom staple but VF overall. Rare program.
