Item Description
11x17" offset print on thin white stock produced before the show. This PNW flyer has graphic of intrigued woman w/car parts and text "Mary Mechanic Says Meet Me At The Quasi Record Release Party!" The concert in Portland, OR "In The Balcony Of La Luna" featured Sone & Elliot Smith on Fri. Mar. 22, 1996. Art by Mike King. Illustrated in King, Herring & Gore authored book Maximum Plunder on p. 271. Only minor handling of file copy quality. NM. Smith, still a member of the band Heatmiser, had released his self titled debut album in July of 1995 and was in the midst of recording the follow up Either/Or that would be released in Feb of 1997. Smith's star has continued to rise even after his tragic death in 2003 and he ranks among the most influential artists of the era. This show was in a small loft overlooking the La Luna stage that fit less than 100 people.
