Item Description
8.5x14" photocopy (xerographic print) on thin green stock. PNW flyer promoting a concert in Eugene, OR at Wow Hall on Sun. Feb 17, 1991, featuring Alice In Chains "With Mookie Blaylock Formerly Mother Love Bone." Almost no handling wear. NM file copy quality. This was one of four examples discovered in the Wow Hall basement over two decades ago. After Andy Wood's tragic death Mother Love Bone disbanded but guitarist Stone Gossard and bassist Jeff Ament kept writing licks not wanting to give up on the dream. They were eventually connected w/San Diego resident Eddie Vedder and the rest is history. Before switching their name to Pearl Jam. the group unified in part behind their love for basketball, went by Mookie Blaylock. Concert posters from this short run between Dec. 1990 and March 2, 1991, included a 12 show West Coast tour w/several opening dates for AIC. With only 21 gigs under the Mookie moniker material from this era of Pearl Jam is among the rarest and most difficult to obtain.
