Item Description
Original photo illustrated box contains 8.75" tall tin litho and plastic wind-up w/built-in key. Made in Japan for the Japanese market by Popy, 1970s. Space Ironmen Kyodyne is a Japanese tokusatsu (any live-action film or TV drama that features considerable use of special effects) Sci-Fi/superhero series. The show premiered in 1976 and ran for 48 episodes. Offered here is Grounzel, who is able to transform into a car-like form known as the Grouncar (toy does not transform). Box has lt. aging/wear and has 2" tear at top side flap, hard crease at tear causing minor warp. Still displays VG/Fine. Wind-up robot shows lt. aging/scattered wear w/tiny paint nicks/scratches to tin litho body. Worked when wound. VF overall.
