Item Description
8.5x11" offset printed on thin stock before the shows. Promoting concerts in New York City at Gaslight A GoGo (formerly Cafe Au Go Go) in the East Village on Fri. & Sat. March 23 & 24, 1973. Corner crease at bottom right and age toning at edges most notably at bottom affecting lower text. Fine w/only minor handling wear. The seminal proto-punk group featuring David Johansen, Johnny Thunders, Arthur 'Killer' Kane, Sylvain Sylvain & Jerry Nolan would head into the studios shortly after these shows in April to record their first self title LP w/Todd Rundgen as producer. The self-titled record, released in July '73, proved to be a cult classic that propelled the evolution of rock music helping spur the rise of the punk.
