Item Description
16x20" color print. Inscribed and signed in lower margin "David Bowie, Philadelphia, 1972" and "Leee Black Childers." Trivial handling wear. NM. Childers parlayed a stage manager gig of Andy Warhol's Pork into becoming Bowie's personal photographer on the Ziggy Stardust tour, also working as advance man for the US Ziggy Stardust tour. Childers photographed the many personalities of Warhol's factory and drag queens in New York during the Factory era. and between 1982-1984 he was Warhol's assistant.
