Item Description
1". St. Louis Button Co. back paper. Identical design also made as a larger (and rarer) 2.25" size as well as a "Hornsby Day" button. All three feature the same great portrait of him in St. Louis Cardinals uniform. "Miracle Man" text as he was dubbed in the fall of 1926 for leading the Cards to their first World Championship in franchise history. Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1942. Scattered trace of surface wear upon close inspection but remains totally bright and glossy. VF.
