Item Description
Lot of six 8.5x11" letters on matching "Fawcett Publications Incorporated" letterheads w/President W.H. Fawcett Jr. and Vice President/General Manager Roger Fawcett printed names at top. Each features full body Captain Marvel image holding sign w/text addressed to "Mr. Manufacturer." 1940s. Each features totally different text, including mentions of Captain Marvel Adventures and Whiz Comics as well as Republic Pictures Adventures Of Captain Marvel movie serial and "The Capt. Marvel Club," noting approx. 300,000 members and Canadian sister club. All exhibit lt. even aging and has staple holes at top left corner, but are o/w Exc.
