Item Description
15x20" LetraMax board has pasted stats in mock-up of VHS promotional sheet for video stores, advertising VHS releases of films in the Friday The 13th slasher franchise. Top of mock-up features photo image, title logo and brief synopsis for the then-new film Friday The 13th: A New Beginning (1985). Mock-up features same setup for the preceding films in the horror franchise - Friday The 13th (1980), Friday The 13th: Part 2 (1981), Friday The 13th: Part 3 (1982) and Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter (1984). Text strip at bottom notes "Limited Pay T.V. Exposure FRIDAY THE 13TH - A New Beginning Tentatively April, 1986" w/handwritten editorial note below it. Mock-up has two vellum overlays attached at top, top overlay having penciled note regarding previously mentioned editorial notation. This overlay shows obvious wear w/large tear across top and large section missing at lower left. Second overlay has two sticky notes w/text noting that title logos should be same size. Mock-up itself is Exc.
