Item Description
20x30" illustration board has smaller 17.5x27" board taped to it w/aged masking tape. Second board features retouched art for Paramount Home Video VHS release of Friday The 13th: Part 3 (1982), the third in the long-running Friday The 13th horror franchise and the first and only film in the franchise to be released in 3D. Image areas measures 6.5x8" and shows iconic design that was also featured on the film's movie poster; that of Jason Voorhees stabbing through shower curtain (in a decidedly 3D look). Of note, the blue color of the shower curtain (and Jason's outline) is more brown in nature than final design. Bottom center has "Caution Retouched Art" stamp. Top/bottom margins show evidence of airbrushing. Exc. Acetate and textured paper overlays attached at top cover all. Textured paper shows moderate wear at top right.
