Item Description
11.25x16.5" DC Comics artboard features pen and ink original art depicting the original four Teen Titans - Kid Flash, Robin, Wonder Girl and Aqualad - as they appeared in the first incarnation of the team introduced in The Brave And The Bold #54 (July 1964). Art was created by George Pérez (1954-2022), one the artists most closely associated w/the team, albeit a later version - The New Teen Titans. Wonderfully illustrated w/Pérez's usual attention to detail, art was created c. 1983, during the heyday of his run on The New Teen Titans. Pérez has signed at center, between Robin's legs and has added geometric bkg. which has covered up small handwritten text that repeats "The Teen Titans" twice (visible in reflected light). Artboard has heavy horizontal creases above/below art as once framed, but art o/w remains clean and Exc.
