Item Description
10.5x11.5" section of artboard features pen and ink original art published as part of the "Who's Who" entries for Detective Comics Annual #2, published by DC Comics Sept. 1989. Each entry featured half-page splash panel art for various popular Batman villains while accompanying text provided character biographies. Art for The Riddler is by Joe James w/inks by Karl Kesel. Art shows full body image of The Riddler w/large question mark framing image of Batman holding riddle. Additional action scene shows Riddler shooting at Batman w/larger close-up portrait at lower right. "Riddler" name is pasted stat. Back has DC copyright inkstamp. Some scattered glue residue at center, not overly distracting. VF/Exc. and art has been matted and is ready for framing. This was later reprinted in The Who's Who Omnibus HC Vol. 1.
