Item Description
4.25x5.5" blank back offset print on card stock produced before the show. PNW flyer promoting a concert at Portland Meadows featuring Nirvana, Mudhoney, Poison Idea and Calamity Jane "In A Special Performance To Benefit The No 9 Campaign" on Sat. Aug. 22, 1992. Corner tip wear most notably at bottom right. Otherwise only minor handling. Extremely Fine. This show was rescheduled for Sep. 11, 1992 after the birth of Kurt Cobain's daughter Frances Bean. The gig was in support of defeating the 1992 ballot measure requiring "All Governments In Oregon May Not Use Their Monies Or Properties To Promote, Encourage Or Facilitate Homosexuality, Pedophilia, Sadism Of Masochism." Ultimately the measure didn't pass and formed the basis for much of the gay rights activism in the area and around the country going forward.
