Item Description
Complete Vol. 63, No. 10 issue from April 28, 1958. Cover features photo of Willie Mays during ticker tape parade after the 1958 San Francisco Giants season, the franchise's first season in San Francisco, CA and 76th season overall. The '58 season saw the team w/a 80-74 record, finishing in third place in the NL standings, 12 games behind the NL Champion Milwaukee Braves. Front has been signed in blue felt tip pen by Mays. Magazine has mailing label on front cover at lower left and shows pinch creases to spine w/scattered color rubs and edge/corner tip wear. Magazine is Fine/VF overall w/strong signature. Comes w/JSA LOA.

"The Say Hey Kid" is regarded as one of the greatest players ever, ranking second behind only Babe Ruth on most all-time lists, including those of The Sporting News and ESPN. Mays played in the NL between 1951 and 1973 for the New York/San Francisco Giants and New York Mets. Some of his many career achievements include being a 25-time All-Star, 12-time Gold Glove Winner, two-time MVP, 1951 Rookie Of The Year and 1954 World Series Champion.  Elected to the National Baseball HOF in 1979 and is currently the oldest living member.
