Stanley Frank Musial, nicknamed "Stan the Man", was an American baseball outfielder and first baseman. Widely considered to be one of the greatest and most consistent hitters in baseball history, Musial spent 22 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB), playing for the St. Louis Cardinals, from 1941 to 1944 and from 1946 to 1963, before becoming a first-ballot inductee into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969. Some of his many career highlights include being a 24 time All-Star, a three time World Series Champion, a three time MVP and a seven time NL batting champion. He was named as part of the Major League Baseball All-Century Team. The autograph on this card is very strong and excellently placed in the center of the front of the card. The PSA population report indicates that this is the only card ever graded by PSA at this ;eve; w/only two graded higher.
