Item Description
2.5x3-1/8". The 1941 Play Ball series consists of 72 cards. The 1941 set introduced color to its card fronts - though many of the pieces were simply colorized versions of the player's 1940 card.

Robert Lee Johnson, nicknamed "Indian Bob", was an American professional baseball player. He played as a left fielder in Major League Baseball for three American League teams from 1933 to 1945, primarily the Philadelphia Athletics. Some career highlights include being an eight time All-Star, being on the Philadelphia Baseball Wall of Fame and the Athletics Hall Of Fame. The Autograph is strong with excellent placement along the right side of the front of the card without impeding the image. This is the highest example ever graded by PSA w/only three others appearing in the PSA population report.
