Item Description
Identical pair, each is small .75" both w/Whitehead & Hoag back paper. Great image of mascot tiger w/its tail looped around body in a perfect circle, text around rim along w/a pair of baseballs. Both have trace of surface wear seen upon magnification. Both remain glossy and Exc.

Iffy the Dopester was the secret identity of Malcolm Bingay, the editorial director of The Detroit Free Press. Iffy's'/Bingay's columns were chatty, anecdotal and full of information on his beloved Tigers and other baseball personalities such as Connie Mack, Christy Mathewson, Ty Cobb, Schoolboy Rowe, Hank Greenberg, and Charlie Gehringer. Acclaimed by thousand as America's keenest baseball analyst w/his articles and stories based upon many years of intimate personal contact w/the world of baseball.
