Item Description
Based on the inclusion of the space dog "Mutnik," we know this set was likely issued in 1958 following the launch of Sputnik I. There are 12 in the 7/8" size in rwb. The one large 1-3/8" in this color reads: "Sky Observer/Space Satellite/Official." The color variety set in green, yellow and red consists of nine of 12 in the 7/8" size. 22 in all w/three VF and 19 Exc./NM.
