1 lb. 2 oz. size box of Instant Ralston has illustrated ads on back panel for 1954 "Space Patrol Periscope" and "'Hydrogen' Ray Gun Ring" premiums. Box has 2" L-shaped puncture on front panel but label remains sealed at top/bottom though cereal product has been emptied. Box has scattered aging and some surface paper loss and is VG/Fine overall. Rare box. 3x3.5" four-page folder has instructions for ring use as well as ads for additional Space Patrol premiums - Space Patrol Outer Space Helmet, Cosmic Rocket Launcher and Man-From-Mars Totem Head. Evenly aged w/horizontal fold at center, folder has moderate handling wear and is VG overall. Comes w/"Hydrogen Ray Gun Ring"w/adjustable metal band that has raised rocketship, star and planet designs along w/moon face. Large plastic gun on top w/glow end cap that pulls off to reveal viewing lens at rear of gun w/interior view simply being black specks on a gray bkg., meant to represent hydrogen atoms.
