Item Description
1.25"w/"The Ohio Badge Co." back paper. Cartoon portrait of Taft by Ohio State Journal cartoonist Harry Westerman. Given the curious text we date this to the 1912 election w/Republicans split between following Roosevelt to the Progressive Party or staying w/Taft and the Republican Party. A few light horizontal scratches along left side at 9 o'clock that are only seen in reflected light. Otherwise glossy w/light wear. Still Exc. See next lot for sepia variety. Wayne Otchis Collection.
