Item Description
12-1/2x17-3/8" on coated cardstock. Promoting a concert at Tampa Stadium on "Saturday December 8" w/opening act The Marshall Tucker Band. Mouthwatering peach graphic signed in print on the left leaf by artist "Gomez". Text of note at bottom left in silhouette of guitar "An Evening Of Warmth And Good Feelings Under The Stars". Seven tiny pin holes scattered between two clusters at top of peach graphic. Single pin hole in each corner and minor corner bumps. VF. Among the most attractive posters from the band's 1973 tour. By this point the Allman Brothers were a battered band, having lost Duane Allman and Berry Oakley in separate motorcycle accidents in the preceding years but as Greg Allman noted in his biography My Cross To Bear "We'd been through hell, but somehow we were rolling bigger than ever". That certainly rang true for this show that nearly filled the 70,000-capacity football stadium.
