Item Description
15x22" artboard w/pen and ink original art for Nov. 13, 1960 Sunday page by longtime Archie comics and comic strip artist Bob Montana (1920-1975). Sunday page features total of 16 panels, including title panel, which is missing title stat paste-over (w/glue staining evident). Story shows Mr. Weatherbee and Miss Grundy, w/comic hijinks resulting from Mr. Weatherbee attempting to use a rubber hose to speak w/Miss Grundy on the floor below. Archie is seen in second panel before running out, thinking Weatherbee was going to use the hose on him. Archie appears in just one panel. Archie Comic Publications, Inc. copyright strip and KFS distributor strip in twelfth panel. Printer registration labels stapled at left/right, missing at lower right; staples remain. Word balloon text correction missing, revealing some glue staining to ninth panel. Aging/lt. staining to upper left, including ring of lt. staining affecting Archie panel. Fine/VF overall.
