Item Description
Unlike Macy's pre-printed form letters, this letter was typed to a specific recipient - Josef Kleinkauf. Nov. 4 letter discusses "Private Sponsors Performance" and notes special performance of the Superman Adventure show for "Sponsors And Collaborators" w/a lunch to follow (w/Superman display as the centerpiece). Letterhead design includes full figure image of Superman and "S" symbol and lists four sponsors. Horizontal fold at center, o/w NM. Comes w/2.5x5" ticket bearing full body Superman image and "Complimentary Admission" text. Ticket is dated Nov. 16-20, 1940 and has two "Rain Check" inkstamps. NM. Danny Fuchs Collection.
