Item Description
Unlike Macy's pre-printed form letters, this letter pair are typed to a specific recipient. Both letters are addressed to Josef Kleinkauf from Deborah Knapp. Dec. 10 letter discusses "Pilferage" and notes Christmas Adventure prizes will be locked up to prevent "shortages." Dec. 17 letter references Bud Coyler (Superman radio actor) appearance at Macy's Herald Square. Matching letterhead design includes full figure image of Superman and "S" symbol and list three sponsors. Both remain unfolded and NM. Danny Fuchs Collection.
