Item Description
12.25x18.25" (12.25x26.75" fully unfolded) die-cut cardboard bin sign features full body image of Superman, noted as "Famous In Comics! Movies! Radio-TV!" and was used to promoted extensive line of Superman swimming gear produced c. mid-1950s by Super-Swim, Inc. © National Comics Publications, Inc. Sign also features images of Superman swim fin, snorkel and goggles. Sign shows moderate wear, w/lt. scattered color rubs and corner tip/edge wear w/creases at top right. Fine overall but still a graphic and impressive display. Very rare, and this is the only example we know of. Danny Fuchs Collection.
