Item Description
13.25x14.25x18" shipping case contains six replicas of the classic 13" tall mostly tin robot designed after Robby The Robot from the classic sci-fi film "Forbidden Planet" made by Osaka Tin Toy Institute in 1991. The originals were produced in Japan by Nomura c. 1957. Individual boxes feature accurate replicas w/original box graphics and great illustrations on all sides of lid. Each is complete w/all cardboard inserts and "The Tin Age Collection - Mechanized Robot" black membership card. Shipping case has lt. aging/wear as expected. VG. Boxes are case fresh. Lt. aging/wear. Exc. Toys are untested and undisturbed in boxes. Toys designed to walk forward as pistons and lights operate inside the clear plastic dome. Arms are manually adjustable from side to side and rubber hands remain pliable. Exc. as originally issued for $695 each in 1991. High quality robots.
