Item Description
12x20" on medium uncoated card stock. Promoting a concert on September 26 at Hancher Auditorium. Signed in pencil on verso by artist Scott Allen Ross. Design features tense scene of falling anvils. Faint age at edges most notably along left and bottom. Otherwise minor handling. VF. The show featured one of the first known versions of "Meeting Across The River." The Boss and The E Street Band were on the cusp of superstardom playing in front of nearly 2,600 on the University of Iowa campus. As fall came, Born To Run hit number 3 on the Billboard top 200 chart and Springsteen would grace the cover of Newsweek and Time magazine on his way to securing a spot among the most notable musicians of his era. From the archives of artist Scott Allan Ross.
