Item Description
Large 23x27.5" hinged lid, brown canvas-covered presentation box contains 21 21.5x25" progressive lithograph proofs, each w/same image, just in different stages of the "Continuous-Tone, Eleven (11) Color Lithograph" depicting Barks' classic "Trespassers Will Be Ventilated" art that shows Glittering Goldie and her bear Blackjack chasing off Uncle Scrooge, Donald Duck and his nephews, who are in the process of digging up a hoard of gold nuggets. Based on the comic "Four Color" #456 Duck story "Back To The Klondike," this boxed set (one of five identically numbered sets) was issued by Another Rainbow in 1987. The final plate is of the finished product: a Gold Plate Edition variant that is signed in the lower border in pencil by Carl Barks. COA attached to inner lid. Presentation box has cut clear tape at edges that were securing front flap. Some scrapes on tape but box is Fine. Prints are NM as issued.
